Thanx to Nylon i now have a new favorite Fashion Illustrator. Laura Laine from Helsinki, Finland. Her drawings, mostly in black and white are absolutely beautiful, i specially love the way that her subjects hairs are always in motion. i can only dream of ever being as good as her.

By the way, very surprised and intrigued by Michelle Obama's choice of attire for this morning's inaugural, an ensemble by designer Isabel Toledo. She's the wife of one of my favorite artists. the talented illustrator Ruben Toledo, who's work i love and admire. i wish i had half of that talent of his.
