A way to begin the New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR ! hope yours started better than mine. Got a call that my mom was being taking to the emergency room. Her blood pressure sky-rocked and they were running some testes. we were there until 2 a.m. and i didn't end up going to sleep until 4. Now i hope that this is the worst thing that'll happen all year.

and as for my new year resolution, i hope to put this sewing machine that's been hanging in my  closet to some good use.
